In January 2020, Jenny picked up needle and thread and began making small embroidered pieces -- bright, playful, full of colour. Simple shapes filled with different stitches. Rainbows. Flowers. Little moments of texture.
She thoroughly enjoyed stitching every hoop she made. All her designs were created freestyle, so no design was ever the same. They were simply made from joy.
She started sharing her work online and people instantly fell in love.
Her simple video tutorial of embroidering ribbon to denim went viral -- 7.2 million likes on a single video. Today, her brand is called Flynn and Mabel, named after two of her cats (there are four in total), who hover nearby while she works.
Stitching for People Who Want to Try
Jenny didn't want embroidery to feel precious or intimidating. Her videos are so inspiring they make you instantly want to recreate everything -- so she makes it possible by selling her own Stick and Sew Patterns.
These patterns are designs you can peel, place on fabric, and stitch directly over. No transferring. No guesswork. No "doing it wrong."

Colour, Texture, and Small Decisions
Jenny's work is instantly recognisable. Bright colours. Lots of texture. French knots layered generously. Simple forms filled patiently, stitch by stitch.
She likes heavier fabrics -- cotton twills, denim -- things that hold up to layered stitching. Everything stays approachable. Cheerful. Friendly.
